We can be heroes

The University of Oxford’s LGBT Advisory Group invite you to a celebratory series of short talks on the theme of heroes in honour of the Oxford Pride Festival. The event is free and open to everyone.

Speakers include:

• Jonathan Dent, Oxford English Dictionary: Making names for ourselves
• Dr Tristram Wyatt, Zoology: Brother outsider, Bayard Rustin
• Dr Clara Barker, Materials: Where are all the trans* role models?
• Dr Sophie Duncan, Magdalen College: Oscar Wilde’s heroes.
